Sixx A.M. was started in 2006 by Motley Crue bassist, Nikki Sixx. The band consists of Nikki Sixx, James Michael on vocals and DJ Ashba. Sixx: A.M.'s biography was made up of The Heroin Diaries. The band wrote 13 tracks to go along with The Heroin Diaries so it would be a musical portrait that told about Sixx's life and misfortunes.
